At the September Board of Directors meeting the Board decided in favor of replacing a 29 year old pumper/tanker that has served our department very well. The new truck is in Rocky Mount at the dealer getting some final touches before it is delivered to us in 2-3 wks.

On May 15th 2020 Blounts Creek Volunteer Fire Department was awarded a grant from the North Carolina Sate Fire Marshalls Office for nearly $21,000.00. The funds will be used to purchase new equipment to further our mission in protecting life and property.
